Don't let Anger get a hold of You.

Ephesians 4:26-27

26 "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold.

Anger, Why do we even let anger get the best of us? Were we doing something that we thought was smart but it bit us in the end? Did our pride get hurt? What was it? 

For me its normally the first two and I've given in to anger. 

Anger is a nasty thing that can take a hold of us pretty easily if we let it. There are only two things that can be  made from anger, Hatred and sadness. Hatred is when the Devil can get his foot in the door, Sadness is when the Devil is in and laughing at you. WE aren't supposed to give the Devil room to walk in. We are supposed to slam the door right back in his face! Crush his foot! Don't let him in! BURN IT WITH FIRE!! No not really don't burn anything. Keep anger away from you! Don't sin, because anger that's what anger can do. Remember God keep record of what we do, and say, and what we think! Keep those thoughts in check. In Philippians 4:8 tells us on what we need to think.

 ⁸ Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

So watch your thoughts,actions, and words so to sum this up -> don't sin.

Anger will destroy us from the inside out and how are we to show that God lives in us? Because anger definitely doesn't show it. James 1:20 says it!     

James 1:20

20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

So guys don't let anger get a hold of you Jesus still loves you and will leave you no matter what you do.
