Honor And Respect

Honor is a high respect for someone. Respect a condition of being esteemed or honored. You see Honor  and Respect go hand in hand. I can give you three strong verses on Respect and Honor.

'Honor your Father and Mother' Exodus 20:12

Right there many children and teenagers will and do not respect their parents. How disgraceful it is for a parent to see his children blatantly disobey them. It drives me crazy to see that. I don't know about you but it is a huge slap to the face when the child does not obey.

Proverbs 20:9
Honor The Lord with your possessions, and the first fruits of all your increase.

1 Peter 2:17
Honor all men, Love the Brotherhood, Fear The Lord, Honor the king.

Honor The Lord first, then your parents, and Honor the King. Keep the Lord first in everything you do no matter what it is. Honor your parents by obeying them and remember their teachings when your away from them. Honer the king or anyone in authority over you, such as the government. You should pray for them if you don't agree with their decisions and pray that they make the right choices.

When we Honor all men we must show some respect to them. But there are some people who do not deserve respect.

Psalm 40:4
Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust,And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

If you want honor and respect you must remain humble and trusts the Lord. When we are humble and Trust the King people will see us as a inspiration.

Matthew 5:16
In the same way,let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

The Light we are shining is the Light of Christ and other people are trying to find it.

So lets show the world the light we have, when we let it shine we will be seen as a inspiration to those who don't have it.

10 Things I Will Always Remember From my Time in Germany

I know it's been awhile since I have blogged on this fantastic page, what with moving and all.  So, I am here to rectify that.  As I begin my journey back to the States in a week, I just wanted to reflect on the past 3 and half years.  It has been a journey.  An amazing journey.

1.  I will always remember that excited, but slightly apprehensive, feeling of moving to Germany.  Excited for the obvious reasons, one of them being in the middle of history itself.  And then the apprehensive feeling of being overseas.  Far from my homeland.

2.  The food.  Man, do the Germans know how to eat.  From schnitzel to pizza, and from the bratwurst to the amazing gilatos.

3.  The culture that surrounds this place.  For instance, when you come to eat at dinner, it is a time to sit down and fellowship together, and to enjoy the delicious spread before you.  It easily takes about two and a half hours to eat dinner at a German restaurant.

4.  The friends I have made.  They have been amazing blessings, and they have helped me grow in many areas.  I will not forget any of them!  I am immensely grateful for every one of them.

5.  The traveling.  It has been a blast going on road trips with my family.  We have journeyed all over the continent of Europe together, and have made numerous memories.

6.  A gathering of teens called "FAB Friday."  It was a time where we would gather every Friday night to enjoy food, fellowship, and fun!  But more importantly, we were able to dig into the Word of the Lord, and grow from what we learned.

7.  The castles.  By George, there are castles on almost every hillside.  I will definitely miss exploring these old ruins around here.

8.  The beauty of Bavaria.  My family and I were blessed to be in one of the most beautiful places in Germany.  One of the sixteen states of Germany, it (in my opinion) is the most fantastic.  It's rolling hills and forests will always have a place in my heart.

9.  My family.  I could not imagine where I would be without them.

10.  Every experience.  Every fall.  Every laugh.  Every tear.  Every smile.  All of it.  It has been an amazing time.  The Lord knew what He was doing the day He sent us to Germany!

*Note, that these are in no particular order.

Job's Trust in the Lord.

 Job  1
There was a man in the land of Uz,whose name was Job; that man was blameless and upright, and one that feared God and shunned evil.

Job was a man who was found blameless he was also a man who wouldn't take the name of the Lord in vain. Job faced terrible trials his kids were killed ,his property was taken from him, his body was covered in sores. And he still praised God in the end of it all!

Job's friends told him to curse God and just die, his wife told him the same. One friend even said that he did something wrong to get such a torment. But he never did.

Even throughout his entire torment he never said anything bad towards God, He never blamed the Lord. He only trusted God and in the End of it all God told his friends to leave Job alone and He gave

Readers God limits our heartaches, our troubles, and He extends His Grace to us in abundance. If your wondering why then please understand that God Loves you because your special to Him. The Lord made you don't believe any of that Big Bang junk because none of it is true! Job believed in his Lord because he loved the Lord with all his heart and would never do anything to hurt the Lord. That's why he knew not to blame the Lord the second commandment of the Ten Commandments is
'You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.' Exodus 20:7.

So please try to be like Job he wouldn't take the name of the Lord in vain and neither should we so please watch what you say when God comes into it. Because if you take the His name in vain He will not hold you blameless.

Why we are free

"In God we trust" is the motto of America. It is a motto I trust dearly.
2 Corinthians 3:17 says," For The Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of The Lord is, there is Freedom." I think that's were the our saying comes from. But freedom comes at a price because without the brave men and women who laid down their lives to keep our land free. God has been gracious to and He has watched over us given us the strength to endure hard times. We may have struggled hard times but He will give us freedom because He can do all things.  Freedom can only happen with the Lord's help.
 Happy Independence Day Everyone!
