How to Change the World

James 3:5-8

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!  And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 

Psalm 34:13
Keep your tongue from evil,and your lips from speaking deceit.

Cursing its terrible we defile ourselves by saying such bad words against one another. 
Have you ever heard the saying " If you have nothing nice to say don't say it."? That saying is fantastic.
It helps keep all type of relationships. You should be kind to everyone you meet because they could be going though something terrible and I bet you don't want to make them feel worse. 
A Saying from Veggietales was
"God doesn't want us to spread words that can hurt, God wants us to spread nice words." 

Words are a great way to change the world.

A step to gaining Honor

Proverbs 18:12b

And before honor is humility.

There you have it one of the first steps to gaining Honor one must be humble. If you are proud,my advise you need to stop or you will be humbled,and now one likes being humbled. 

James 4:6 says

But He gives more grace.Therefore He says: "God resists the proud,but gives grace to the humble."

A fantastic verse, one with much knowledge behind it. God resists the proud, God does not like a proud person who thinks that they know it all Because no one can. We all fall at one point or another we need to have Jesus' help, without it we get humbled faster,we fall faster. That's why its better to stay humble read that again its better to stay humble then to get your head into trouble.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a sport where it is better to stay humble because when you think that you can dominate everyone on the mat, you get submitted in a matter of seconds. I speak from experience.

Enjoy humility my friends because He give grace to the humble. Grace is amazing I may talk about that next time though.
But in the end any honor that we get we should give all the glory to the Lord because that's where it all comes from,Him.
